About the Artist
Inspired by surrealism, collage artist, Kerstin Stephan recreates the figure in a distinctly sexual and feminine manner. Using the smooth lines of her female form juxtaposed against torn paper, she obtains from antique books and magazines, her assemblages play on the softness of the female form set in time. This award- winning artist has exhibited her works widely in her native Berlin and has recently has her collages printed in The Journal in Art and Design, 2013, and The Age of Collage.
